Visit County Cork, Ireland

County Cork is a must see for all visitors to Ireland. Cork City itself offers lots to see and do with plenty of restaurants, cinema, retail areas and sights to see. Patrick Street is at the heart of the city and easily accessible by public bus, taxi or if you're accommodation is close enough you might even consider walking! Now there's a thought!

Rural Cork is beautiful and there's plenty of castles and ruins from Ireland's earlier history to keep your camera finger busy. Don't forget to kiss the 'Blarney Stone' while visiting, but be careful, you may end up with the Cork 'gift of the gab'!

If you're thinking of heading Cork direction for a visit you'll find the overview on our new 'Visit Cork' page a good place to start. Enjoy.
